About the founder
Having both a life-long passion for languages and a medical background, I founded Chinese Technical Translations in order to provide medical and technical language services of the highest quality between English and Chinese. I am a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists and have worked in the translation industry for over nine years. Having completed a medical degree and qualified as an advanced-level interpreter in China before coming to the UK, I then completed a Masters degree in Chinese-English Translation and Interpreting, followed by a PhD in Interpreting Studies.
I have worked with a wide range of clients on a great variety of technical translation projects; these include clients in the medical industry, the oil and gas industry, engineering companies, construction companies, top UK universities, international businesses, solicitors and more.
My vision in business is to provide exceptional levels of quality in technical language services between English and Chinese. That is why Chinese Technical Translations only uses highly qualified professional translators and proofreaders with industry-specific knowledge for every translation project.
